बस्तियां, महल,नगर उजड़ जाते हैं,
बसे बसाये मंज़र, उजड़ जाते हैं।
कुदरत के आगे जोर कहां चलता है,
आपदा में हर एक, शहर उजड़ जाते हैं।

इसके लिए कोई रकीब नहीं है,
शासक नहीं कोई हबीब नहीं है।
कोप भाजन बनेगा हर कोई इसका,
इस पर किसी का चलता नसीब नहीं है।
