A Girl was trying for a Job. She knew stenography and was particularly good in public dealing. She ran from pillar to post with her credentials. Nobody had time to listen to her. In some cases, she was refused even to enter the office premises. After many futile efforts, the girl got frustrated. Failing to meet the Manager of a Private Concern, she sat in a nearby park with a glum face. A gentleman was sitting on the opposite bench.

After sometime, he came up to her and said : "If you dont mind, may I ask you something?". The girl looked up with tired eyes. The gentleman said : "You look very upset. May I know the reason?"

There was something in his voice, the Girl believed him. She told him the stories of her repeated failures. The gentleman smiled : "I suggest a simple tip. try next time. Find a quality in the person you meet and heartily admire him or her.". "Only this much?", asked the Girl. The man said, "Yes, this much. Tell me the result tomorrow. You will find me here." The next day, the girl went to another office with all her dossiers. As usual, the gateman was not allowing her to enter. The girl remembered the words of the man she met the previous day. She said : "Darwanji, I am disappointed that you refused to get me in. But one thing I much tell you, You are very sincere to your work. I appreciate your sincerity."

The gateman looked at the Girl and said : Beti, nobody values the sincerity now a days. Atleast you did". He arranged her appointment with the Receptionist. The lady on the reception table was busy talking to many people. The girl waited in vain to catch her attention. Then she recalled the tip. In an opportune moment she told the Receptionist : "Madam, I saw you talking over phone. You have a lyrical voice, do you practice singing?". The receptionist noticed the girl carefully : "Once I used to. But now I dont find time. Anyway, thanks for the compliment. Let me see if I can do something for you". She took the girl to the Manager.

The Manager offered her a cup of tea. By now the girl was confident. She did not produce her documents at all. Instead, she sipped the tea calmly observing the man. The she said, "Sir, I came here for a job but will return with a gift.

"I have never seen such expressive eyes that you possess. They talk even when you keep mum. Perhaps that's why you rose so high." The Manager was least prepared to hear such a thing from a Job seeker.

He talked on so many subjects, about his knack for acting, about his career struggle etc.Ultimately, he asked the girl whether she was ready to accept a job on leave vacancy. When the girl came out, her eyes were glowing. She found her councellor inside the park. "Did the tip help?" he asked. She touched his feet and said emotionally; "I dont know how to thank you, sir. I got the job.

Everybody in this world wants to be accepted by others. But very few know the trick. For them, the above story might leave an important clue. If you have heard it before, thanks for going through once more..
