why does it rains !!!!!!!

..... rains always remind me of this...

Thousands of years back,, when earth was young and beautiful with all its glory and freshness ,,and sky was majestic as ever, they fell in love with each other. it was a perfect pair with she being so beautiful and he being so handsome. in the due course they decided to marry each other .. they requested the priest to find out an occasion for them.. the priest after making several calculations said that there is only one day and sharp at midnight (12:00) they should marry ,, otherwise there wont be any other day ever and ever again when they could marry.. both of them were very happy and started preparing for the wedding.. now people living on earth got tensed that if earth would marry sky she would leave the solar system to go and live with the sky which means people wont have favourable conditions to survive.  on the other hand gods (who lived in sky) were also worried that if earth would come to live with sky ,, being a female she would not be able to adjust with us and would want us to leave , then where would they go.. people on earth approached gods in sky to find a solution to their problem..
 
Finally the wedding day arrived ,, earth never looked so beautiful and stars were never so bright, they formed their own constellations to sparkle up the entire sky,, both of them were so happy that finally they are getting what they wanted. priests arrived at the venue and started with the proceedings , the atmosphere filled with the vedic chants... the groom arrived and bride too .. vedic mantras were all around the air. gods showered flowers.... the auspicious moment came when they were just about to take pheras ,, just at that moments a god disguised as a cock sat on the moon and crowed( which means that night is over and a new day is about to begin) ,, hearing that priests said that the time is over ,, now this marraige cant take place ever and ever in future.. it was a big thrust for both earth and sky ,, they both looked at each other , didnt say a word but kept looking at each other even after everyone else had left ... they also turned and left for their respective places with tears and a heavy heart. they accpeted as god's will and their destiny
 
even today they both gaze at each other from distance and surrender in their loneliness,, when sky misses earth and the silent separation he just weeps and tears roll down his cheeks......... thats why it rains because sky wants earth to always how much he still misses her , loves her...

who has ever understood those subdued tears.........
