Dube hain jam -e- may ki kaifiyat me hum.
Bahut rangin tabiyat hui jaati hamaari hai.

Kehte hai ki jyada peene se nashe me hain.
Are ye to 'pankaj' halaat-e-isq ki khumari hai.

Inhi labon se chue the jam-e-lab jo Jani ke.
tisnagi in labo ki ab jam-e-may pe vaari hai.

Fisl jaye agr lafz to yaaron maaf karna humko.
Hue hain rind hum ab, hui may se Aazeez daari hai.

Jasn-o-isq me to bahut pi humne unki ankhon se.
Matam-e-isq ke khatir, ab ise pine ki baari hai.

Buri adat hai kehte hain Ajeej,pine aur pilane ki.
Ye unke falsafe honge, ye to apni tazurba-kaari hai.  (PWFS 03/02/2012)
