jaanib se unki jab se ishaare hume mile
kya kahiye kaise kaise nazaare hume mile

jab se mile hai wo to maissar hai har khushi
khoye hue wo phir se sahaare hume mile

bin unke to bhatak rahe the bahr-e-yaas me
wo aise hai mile jaise kinaare hume mile

ye chaand ye sitaare kaha the naseeb me
wo mil gaye to yu chaand, sitaare hume mile

jinko talaash kar rahe the hum chaman chaman
dekho bahaaro se bhi woh pyaare hume mile

tha intezaar jinka humaari nigahon ko
phir se 'sam' dekho dost puraane hume mile

parh ke mari aankh dhundla si gayi hai
ki hum ko bhi yahan dost pyaare se mile hain
hume bhi jeene ke sahare si mile hain..
