diler na sahi par, kaayar na tha
ehsaas the par, shayar na tha!

kai armaan bhadak kar bujh gaye
thi chahat deewano si par, deewangi ka fire na tha!

bade daave the meri samajh ki, unko
bithaya uss gadi par, jisme koi tire na tha!

uljalul baaten karta par dil uska sachcha tha
dukhaye dil kabhi kabhi par, dil dukhane ko hire na tha!

hansoge to fasoge
ab bolo kaise sahoge
jeena ho jaega duswaar
ab bolo kaise rahoge
