                              gar    ek-ek   jaam   ho jaaye.

                              naya    saal    nayee   siyasat.
                              koee  naya  ilzaam  ho    jaaye.

                              javaanee  munnee-wa-sheela  kee.
                              phir se  badnaam    ho    jaaye.

                              zindagee gumnaamee mein kab tak.
                              ab   daulat-o-naam   ho   jaaye.

                              rahaa   taveel    saalo.N    se.
                              ab   kee     kaam    ho   jaaye.

                              hai   jo   RAJAA   phalo.n   ka.
                              phir    kyon    aam   ho  jaaye.

                              zakhm-e-qalb   kya   kijiye  ab.
                              kuchh   toh  aaraam  ho   jaaye.
