               rahtey hain khafaa alfaaz bhi meri gaali sey,
               rahtey hain khafaa ustaad bhi meri gaali sey,
              
               bhauktey nahin kuttey bhi ghar key saamney,
               rahtey hain khaufzada wo bhi meri gaali sey,

               nahin detaa dastakh koi darwaazey par merey,
               dartey hain bhikhari bhi meri gaali sey,

               pukara gar saaley ko saala to chillati hai biwi,
               rahtey hain khafa sasuralwaley bhi  meri gaali sey,

               koi nahin bulaata mujhey apni mehfil main yahaan,
               rahtey hain pareshaan shaherwaley bhi meri gaali sey,
              
               kartey hain salaam mujhey aaj sabhi izzatdar
               rahtey hain hairaan wo bhi   meri gaali sey,
              
               sudhar ley aadat  apni waqt sey pahley marhoom,
               hogaa rukhsat warnaa phir tu sabhi ki gaali sey...!
