machli kuundi se choot jati he
apni qismet hi phoot jati he!
 
roz aata toe hoon station per
her dafa gaari chhoot jati he.

Hum manaatay hein lakh harboan se
phir bhi mashooqa rooth jati he!

Piyar jab hud se barh jata he
dosti he ke toot jati he.

jab bhi aati he yaad zaalim ki
daal seene pe koot jati he.
