आदाब- ए-आशिक़ी पे कुछ बाब लिखवा लो
चाहो तो मोहब्बत पे किताब लिखवा लो

यूँ तो सह ना पाओगे चुभन करो ऐसा
इन कांटो के रस्ते पे गुलाब लिखवा लो

टूटे हुए दिल की ग़ज़ल तराज़्ज़ियाँ देखो
अच्छी न लगे दुनियां तो ख़राब लिखवा लो

हँसना रोना कितना क्या निसाब लिखवा लो
कैसे कैसे जीना है अदाब लिखवा लो

रख लेंगे हम तो अपनी ज़बान क़ाबू में
दिल से ज़हर निकाल के जनाब लिखवा लो

परदे ही में अच्छे हैं कई रंग लोगो
ऐसा ना हो कहीं से बेहिज़ाब लिखवा लो

कह जाता है जाने क्या मुझे इशारे से
ठहरो इन तूफ़ानो से जवाब लिखवा लो

भर दो ख़्वाब से आँखें नयाब लिखवा लो
इन खिलती कलियों पे सवाब लिखवा लो
