ALWIDAH

Dosto main lurhkhraataa saa mehkhaaney se aayaa hoon,
               Lekin khush hoon ke chalaktaa paimaaney se aayaa hoon!

Gar saaqi chalkaayaa hai mujhe paimaanaa-e-nigah se to…
          To kyaa, paimaaney se paimaanaa takraa ke naa aayaa hoon!

Saaqi tu abb kyun taraptaa hai merey tarap jaaney se yun,  
                 Main koi pyaasaa nahin sab pyaas bhujha ke aayaa hoon!

Aaj main khoob hosh mein hoon ke madhosh nahin hoon,
                  Terey butkhaaney pe aakhree sajdah karney aayaa hoon!

Abb jaataa hoon main teree nigahon se bahut dur kahin,
                Tu ne banaa dee hai nayee taqdeer bataaney aayaa hoon!

Sab kehtey theh MohaN tu kyun aakbat sanwaartaa nahin,
          Yeh le ke abb merii alwidah hai lautney ko to naa aayaa hoon!!
