Wo soz-e-jigar, deeda-e-tar, bhool gayay wo
Wo chaand wo taaron ka safar, bhool gayay wo

Gar yaad raha bhe tu faqat, tark-e-mohabbat
Aaghaaz-e-mohabbat ko magar, bhool gayay wo

Wo jub bhe gayay, laut kar aatay thay meray paas
Hayrat hay k aaj apna he ghar, bhool gayay wo

Hayraan nigaahon main, pasheman duaain
Roothay huvay lehjay ka zeher, bhool gayay wo

Yak-baargi yeh tark-e-taaluk tu nahi tha
Is baar lautnay ka hunar, bhool gayay wo

Hay yaad unhen apni jafaaon ki tarah Shiv
Is bad-numaa shaair ki qabar, bhool gayay wo

Sookhay huvay paton ki jaga, phool khilay hen
Is koochay say vb ka guzar, bhool gayay wo

Sabhi ashaar aik se badhkar aik rahe janab... badi achchi kavish ka inteqaab kiya hai aapne... is umdaa kalaam par humari hazaaroN dili daad O mubbarakbad kabul kijiye...
Aur in quoted ashaaroN khususi daad ...
