                             nikle   ghar    se   zindagi   ki   talaash    mein...,
                             dhhoond te hue insaaniyat chalti -phirti laash mein...,

                             rahnaa  seekhaa  nahin khush  maujoodaa  haalat mein...,
                             bharte hain aanhein hum sabhi sirf-o-sirf kaash mein...,

                             poachh  kar aansoo so gayaa wo ghareeb  phir  aaj raat...,
                             subah  nikle  gaa  sooraj  nayaa,   iss   aas    mein...,

                             kho    gai   khusboo   jaane   kahaan    chaman    ki...,
                             chhaai  hui hai  ghhootan   si   apni   saans    mein...,

                             mohabbat bhi,  aaraam  bhi,  hansi   bhi   chain  bhi...,
                             mile  bechain  ko paise  mein, rupie mein, maa'sh mein...,
