na dosti se kisi ki na dushmani se der lagta hai
mujhe to khud apni zindaghi se der lagta hai

fareb deker mujhe phir ho na jaye juda kahi
ai yaar tere honto ki hasi se der lagta hai

mujhe yakeen hain ki tum mere ho mere hi the
mager mujhe apni badnaseebi se der lagta hai

raas aane lage hai andhere ghum-e-shab-e-furkat ke
chaand se jalta hu aur chandni se der lagta hai

ye tera pyaar hai jo dorh raha hai nas nas me meri
mager ai husn pari teri shaistagi se der lagta hai

sholo per chala hu soya hu angaaro per judai ke
mager ye sach hai tere saanso ki garmi se der lagta hai

phir tum kareeb ho mere phir wo raatein wahi tanhaiya
tere shabaab se nahi apni deewanghi se der lagta hai

apne hi jazbaat se der lagta hai
un haseen khayalaat se der lagta hai

isliye nahi dekhta ab main teri traf
teri aankho ke isharaat se der lagta hai

jab se uthi hai mere sapno ki mayyat
mujhe her kisi ki baraat se der lagta hai

dil-e-shaad phir nashaad ho na jaye kahi
her haseen ke paighamaat se der lagta hai

tumne ki jab se bewafai hum se
ab wafa ki baat se der lagta hai

tanhai me jeene ki aadatv si ho gayi
her haseen ke haseeN saath se der lagta hai

iss duniya ki bheedi se daar lagta hai
tanha na kar dein hume iss khayal se daar lagta hai

apni har junoon se ab daar lagta hai
ab kisi ko khone se bhi daar lagta hai

bahut kuch seh liye hum
ab kuch bhi seh se daar lagta hai
