Dhud rahi najar dikhta koi yaar nahi
Hatho pe lakiren hai magar en mai pyar nahi

Dikhte hai roj chehre hajaro khubshurt
Jane kyu judte nigaho ke taar nahi

Tanha dil bhunta hai anjane se sapne
Magar juban se hota ejhar nahi

Koi tho dil hoga jo sunega meri shada
E shanam aaja hota ab intjar nahi

Dhud rahi najar dikhta koi yaar nahi
