दुनियां तेरी भीड़ में शामिल मैं भी हूँ
तेरी तरहा दर्दो को हासिल मैं भी हूँ

इक अपना ख्याल रखा होता तो काफ़ी था
क्यूँ लगता था किसी का साहिल मैं भी हूँ

होना क्या है हाल-ए-दिल बादे मोहब्बत
इस मुआमले में बेज़ा गाफिल मैं भी हूँ

हसरत है दिल की के वो अब कह दें खुल के
हमदम तेरी उल्फ़त के क़ाबिल मैं भी हूँ

हालात बने हैं कुछ ऐसे के क्या करती
हां अपने ही ख्वाबों की क़ातिल मैं भी हूँ

गर तुमको नहीं ख़ौफ़ आसान नहीं हम भी
सुन ले तू भी ओ मुश्क़िल मुश्क़िल मैं भी हूँ

अपना कह दें जिसे रखें वो ता-उम्र दिल में
जान-ए-ज़िंदगी तुमसे मुक़ाबिल मैं भी हूँ
