EK CHAAHAT

Main ne tujhe iss qadar thaa chaahaa  
Ke bas chaahataa hee chalaa gayaa
Tere waedaa kaa taqaazaa thaa
Hat pal teree rah dekhtaa hee chalaa gayaa
Nigah pathhar sii ho gayee
Saari umr intezaar karte hee nikal gayee
Yeh kaisaa waedaa thaa kabhi to aao ge
Main ishq nibhaataa hee chalaa gayaa
Maantaa thaa kaandon pe uthhaane waale
Qabarastan tak to pahuchaa hee dete hain
Yeh sochh kar ke tumhein koi takleef naa ho
Qabrastan ke paas ghar khojtaa hee chalaa gayaa
