                        hue qurbaan hum apne hi oosulon mein..,
                        milti nahin khushboo baagh ke phoolon mein..,


                        hain khawahish bahut hausle per nadaarad rahe,
                        baaqi nahin tapish abb aag ke sholon mein,


                        hue faisle kai  dahleez pe maut ke,
                        goonjti nahin aawaaz aaj unn mahlon mein,


                        guzaar di zindagi kabhi raah-e- mohabbat apni,
                        toot jaate hain  rishte sabhi, aaj lamhon mein,

                  
                        hue khudgarz jab se ghummgeen rahe bechain..!
                        dhoondte hain roshni aaj hum ujaalon mein.
