dekha hai jabse maine usko ek nazar,
tabse hotho pe muskan khilne lagi hai,

mere likhe geet jo gaaye usne is kader,
un geeto ko dhoon bhi badlne lagi hai,

main kho gya hu uski haseen duniya main,
meri basi hui hasti or sawarne lagi hai,

niharke dekha us balaa ka husan ghazab ka tha ,
shawaab ko sote huye dekh neend khone lagi hai,

mon rakh liya mere dil ne kuch keh nahi pata,
us koyal ki awaaz jo mere gher gunjne lagi hai,
