HUSN KYAA SAMAJHE

Unh kaa husn-o-shabaab kyunkar samajhe
Apnee hee naghat gulaab kyunkar samajhe
Ke zindagi mein, musaratein bhi hotee hain
Yeh abb, khaanaa khraab kyunkar samajhe

Jis ne pee ho naa naa hee pilaaee bhi kabhi
Woh aankhon kee shraab kyunkar samajhe
Jo meh hee pee pee nashey mein rehtaa ho
Woh phir azaab-o-swaab kyunkar samajhe

Jis ne dekhaa hee nahin husn-e-lailla kabhi
Bhalaa, majnu ke khwaab kyunkar samajhe
Mohtasib, phir pochh le saaqi hee se tu abb
Tu peeye hee jaa tu hisaab kyunkar samajhe

Dekhne waale, gazab kee nigah rakhte hain
Yeh pardah poshee nikaab kyunkar samajhe
Bastian phir itnee kyunkar hotee hain veran
Bhalaa, gardish-e-inqlaab kyunkar samajhe

Kyaa hai phir manzoor qudrat-e-khuda abb
Bhalaa koi iss kaa jawaab kyunkar samajhe
MohaN peer tu abb prastish hee keeye jaao
Mastee-e-prastish, shraab kyunkar samajhe
