Jaan nahi paaye, shayad pahechan nahi paye,
Kya tha aapke manme ? Bat vo shayad samaj nahi paye,
Hamne to armanoko bas yuhi rakh diya tha aapke samne,
Par shayad kahena chahte the jo aap vo kahe nahi paaye,
Na to thi chahat, na hi koi rishta firbhi kuchh yadoko paye,
Nazroke samne thi kitab par shayad ham padh nahi paaye,
Kuchhbhi ho magar ham aapko bhul nahi paaye..
