Kuch naya likhu ye iradaa tha
batenge khushi ye khud se wada tha

Zameen par rehkar paa lenge aasma
Yu hawaa me hath ko uchalaa bhi tha

Neend tute bhale pura karenge armaan
Khwaab dil me kuch aisa pala tha

Mushkilo se jab kar rahe the gujar
honslo se khud ko sambhala sa tha

Socha tha likhenge kuch naya dosto
par waqt ne fir uljhaya sa tha

"Bhawna" jab lagi thi bikharne
Fir kalam ne hi mujhe sambhala sa tha
