                 haisiyat kahaan aisee kee woh mehtaab bane.
                 doobta  hua  sitaraa   kya  aaftaab  bane.


                 tarse  hai  jo  khud  hee  kisee  ke liye.
                 woh  kya  taabir  aur  kya  khawaab  bane.


                 hai  tabassum  iflaas  kee  chhaaee  huee.
                 bataa  woh  chehraa  kaise  shaadaab bane.


                 kar le  tark jazbaat-o-zameer  jo tu apna.
                 phir  dekh  iss jahaan mein kaamyaab bane.


                 ho   qalb   khud   bekhudee  mein   jiska.
                 woh   kya   maiqade   kee   sharaab  bane.
