    maa tare hath ki bani  choori   yaad   aayi hai.
Fir    jubaa.n par  wahi   pyaas lout   aayi hai.

Na tu  hai  na tera saaya  hai mare  sath yuh
Har   raat maine roo kar hijr main bitaayi hai.

Tari   loriya   sunkar  neend   aajaya karti thi.
Ab aankho main aansu.o ki barsaat aayi hai.

Khiyaal rakhti thi  mera jab   bimaar hota tha.
Ab be-haal huye  to dil se aah   nikal aayi hai.

Main ruswa hu tumse  ae duniya rachne wale.
Louta de vapis jo  mari khushiya  chipaayi hai.
