main tanha nahi hoo,n dil tanhai main akser zeeta hai,
ghoot--ghoot ke dard e judai  ko akela yu hi sehta hai,

sah leta hai zamaane ki di  saari takleef  bhari baate,
chup rahta hai hamesha jubaa,n se kuch  nahi kehta hai,

aah nikal hi jati hai jab  tadap badhti hai din be din,
gaalo par  nishaa,n aa  jate  hai jab  aansu behta hai,

zindagi se chale gaye mari naa jaane  kiya  khataa hui,
ab woh sath to nahi par khuwaabo  main aksr  rehta hai,

mare seene main mara khanjar kiyon ki be--waffai  usne,
fir bhi maaf kiya usey jo aaj bhi dil main dhadkta hai,

fizaa,o main ghoomta hu  kho,i  sabaa ki  talaash main,
thokare hi khata hai jab bhi  raah e manjil chalta hai,
