MATTAA-E-GHAM

Mattaa-e-gham ne aashiqi maang lee hai          
Tumhi se tumhaari khushi maang lee hai

Kisee chaand se chaandni maang lee hai
Khuda se ik nayee zindagi maang lee hai

Husn andhere mein bhi hosin dikhtaa hai
Jaise ke jugnuon se roshni maang lee hai
 
Bhehtee dhaaraa kee mauj maang lee hai
Nikalte aaftaab kee roshani maang lee hai

Chutkian sii bharti sabaa yun guzartee hai
Iss ne kis husn kee sarmasti maang lee hai

MohaN kyun yun maayoos saa phirtaa hai
Jaise kisee zulf kee barhami maang lee hai

Mattaa = property; Barhami = naaraazgi;
