mohhobat paak hai ibaadat hai,
yuh mohhobat may kisi ko na aajmaa,

khuda ke dar par deir hai andher nahi,
reham kha eyse kaher na kamaa,

zindagi e dard jab rulaye ga tumko,
yaad aayega tumko mare sath bittaya hua jumaa,

jab bhi chand ko dekhoge akele,
tadap te reh jaoge bite ga na samaa,

roz nikharta tha main rooh ko apni,
kitna tarsa tha tare pyaar ki dhoop ko rehnumaa,
