Itnaa ban.than ke ghar se na niklo, yeh theek nahin hai...
Phir itnee subhaa sawere niklo, yeh aur theek nahin hai!

Kahan jaa.rahe ho munh andhere, yeh theek nahin hai...
Phirte hain luchhe lafange lutere, yeh theek nahin hai!

Waise bhi kuchh aise hee log rehte hain tumhen ghere...
Chorhe jaate ho ghar bhaai bandu, yeh theek nahin hai!

Aap humaare ghar kabhi tashreef laa.kar to dekhen...
Aisa kuchh nahin mere dost, jo maayasar nahin hai!

Woh aur ghataa aa.rahe donon kaali zulfen bakhere...
Kyaa aaj koi mukaablaa hai, kuchh sunaa to nahin hai!

Haseen logon ka kabhi bhi bharosaa na keejiye...
Hain nahin kabhi aapke, aur mere bhi nahin hai!

Jo kal tak to chen kii neend sote thhey har raat...
Jab se aa.gayaaye hain unh ke phere, neend nahin hai!

Jo kal tak baithe thhey saaqi ke ru.bru shaam sawere...
Kahan lagaa liye hain aaj dere, woh yahan to nahin hai!!
