                       ehsaas hi  naa  thaa  ki jalaa  degaa...,
                       mitti  aur  raakh  dono  milaa  degaa...,

                       zindaa karne ki chaah mein murdo.n ko...,
                       amrit kaa  hi  tamaashaa  banaa degaa...,

                       muaafi  maang  li  ghalti   phir  bhi...,
                       poori    mehfil    ko   sazaa   degaa...,

                       gar ek bhi phhool pahuchaaye nuksaan to...,
                       poore   chaman   ko   hi   mitaa  degaa...,

                       haalaat  kuch  aise  ho chuke  fizaa ke...,
                       bahaar  ko  bhi  khizaa.n  banaa  degaa...,

                       meri  maano  to  chhupp hi raho bechain warnaa...,
                       jhhoot  ke  dum  per  suchh  ko  hilaa   degaa...,
