                          kis   aah  ko  chhode.n  kis  aah  ko jaayein!
                          ajeeb  kashmakash  hai  kis  raah  ko  jayein!

                          ujaale  mein  bhi  wahi  izteraab   ki haalat!
                          ho  kar  saaye  se  alag   sayaah  ko jaayein!
            
                          dikhaaye  gaa  kabhi to tasweer mann motaabiq!
                          soch  kar  ye  aaine  se  nibaah  ko  jaayein!

                          dikash nahin jaan padti miskeen ki timaardaari!
                          ham to apne haakeem  ki khairkhwaah ko jaayein!

                          taskeen-e-dil ke  waaste  kya-kya  na kiya hamne.n!
