I think we can see a small example of this in the fact that we are able to recall something as soon as we STOP thinking about it. For the same reason I feel that life's truths and mysteries can only dawn upon one slowly, one cannot get to them by thinking, brainstorming or rationalizing about them because THEY will come to us, WE cannot go to them. That's what enlightenment is, it comes to us or dawns upon us, we can't go to it or strive for it. And it will come to us only if we deserve it.
