                                 ishq    mein    nakaam    humm   toh.

                                 durr   per   unke    baithe     rahe.
                                 younn  hee  subh-o-shaam   humm toh.

                                 andar   koee   nasha   nahin  baaqee.
                                 hain be-lazat  ek  jaam   humm  toh.

                                 kya  sunaye.N   haal  tumhe.N  laila.
                                 hain  majnu  per be-moqaam  humm toh.

                                 gaye  jaan  se khud  hee  humm apnee.
                                 aaye  na  kisee  ke  kaam  humm   toh.

                                 aaee na raas raunaq-e-mehfil qalb ko.
