Hum bheegi palkon ke sang bhi muskuraye hai,
Raah-e-zindagi main aise bhi moke aye hai..

Bewaffaon ki mehfil main unhi ke saath jhilmilaye hai,
Raah-e-zindagi main aise bhi moke aye hai..

Dil na choone wale gaanon ko bhi gungunaye hai,
Raah-e-zindagi main aise bhi moke aye hai..

Bei-maani shor kay beech bhi hum nazmein likh paye hai,
Raah-e-zindagi main aise bhi moke aye hai..

Kehne ko toh teri umr hi kya hai ‘Khamosh’,
Phir duniya ko kafi kareeb se dekh paye hai,
Raah-e-zindagi main aise bhi moke aye hai..

Diya hai zindagi jab bhi thokar mujhe yaaron,
Aise zakhmon se hi hum sab kuch seekh paye hai,
Raah-e-zindagi main aise bhi moke aye hai..
