                              bahaar uski naraazgi ko manaati rahi!
                              ke hawaa khusboo-e- chaman laati rahi!

                              ibtadaa-e-ishq hua kuch iss tarah se!
                              ke uski khamoshi ki  sadaa aati rahi!

                              taasir  jalaane  ki jaane kahaan gai!
                              aaj lau uss shamaa ki gudgudaati rahi!

                              khawaabo.n  ko shaayad  padh liya tha!
                              phir raat, raat  bhar muskuraati rahi!

                              silsila yaado.n ka jo shuru hua aanaa!
                              ghazal  khud-b-khud  gungunaati  rahi!

                              sharma kar nazar-e-mahtaab se marhoom!
