These seven lines were a common reflection of theme of  Urdu Poets before Ghalib and this in turn was a influence of Persian Poet Hafez. Most of the poems in dewaan-e-Hafez are on the theme love and fragility of being alive.

SAAGAR CHALAA CHALEY

Kyaa kahun humaarii basaat bhi to ho koi yahan,                                                    
Baarii baarii aaye yahan baarii baarii hee chaley,
Ek sholah se theh jaltey bujhtey hee rahey yahan,
Saaqia lagey koi tamaashaa saa ho chalaa chaley,
Jab talak bhi chaley saaqia, saagar chalaa chaley,
Kaash koi bashar yeh bhi to bataa sakey ‘MohaN’
Kidhar kidhar se aaye, aur kidhar kidhar chaley!!
