hatho se juda hoker wo
aankho se wida nahi hote hai
honto pe sada rahte to hai
per honto se byaan nahi hote hai

kis baat se leker baat karu
her baat me wohi rahte hai
bhale karu na main zikr unka
per fikr me wo hi rahte hai

kyun ponchu main us aansuo ko
her boond me wo rahte hai
inhi bahano ke zariye
wo sath mera to dete hai

bhale jhooti ye aas sahi
per sach hai ki hum sahte hai
sab log hai kahne ko apne
phir bhi tanha hum lagte hai

khud ko zinda rakhe ya gher ki nigahdaari kare
ek diya kab tak bhala, her ek ki dildaari kare

aa gaya bezaar apni is adaakari se woh
kab hase, kab chahre pe sanjeedgi taari kare

is shaher me jeena hai, chalna do rukhi talwar per
aadmi kis se bache aur kis ki tarafdaari kare

her kisi ko jaise ek lamba safer darpesh hai
raat hi se subah ko chalne ki tyaari kare

shayed ye aapko zyada pasand aayega

kahan per jaker tujh ko main awaaz du
pathther na bana de tera intezaar mujhe

kitne armaano se humsafar banaya tha
tum bhi dhoka de gaye pyare yaar mujhe

kabhi tera wajood jagir tha baho ka meri
aur ab mayasser nahi tera didaar mujhe

dum ghutne laga hai ab is shaher me mera
zahar lagne lagi hai sawan ki baha mumjhe

mujhko teri wafa per bharosa tha, wado per yakeen
lout aa, na neelam ker tu ser-e-bazaar mujhe
