Meri kalm hi meri pehchaan hogi yakeen se yeh kehta hoon
   Main woh zindagi ka kirdhaar hoon jo pardey ke peeche rehta hoon

Yeh maana ke dunya rangmanch hai phir bhi berAng yeh kehta hoon
     Main woh rang hoon jo safedgi mein rehta hoon

Har kisi ke dil mein bas jaun yeh tamana rakhta hoon
     Main woh tanha hoon jo apno ki bheerh mein rehta hoon

Mere lafzhon ki khushboo bikhrey har mehfil  gulistan mein
      Main woh shayar hoon jo dilon par likhta rehta hoon

Mohabbat ke sagar mein doobna yehi chahat hai bas
      Main woh saahil hoon jo beech bhanwar mein uljha rehta hoon
