                             wo  phool  hai  ya khaar hai!
                             mujhe   uss  se   pyaar  hai!

                             tariki  ka  ghum nahin mujhe!
                             ek  jugnu   mera  yaar   hai!

                             ye  bhi zakmi  wo  bhi dukhi!
                             saraa shahr uska shikaar hai!

                             phool to khilna chaahein per!
                             roothi  hui  zara bahaar hai!

                             unki sohbat ka asar hai baaqi!
                             aaine mein isliye nikhaar hai!

                             bahut  jhuk  liya hai marhoom!
