               GHAZAL
Tumne phir rukh kiya udhar shayad !
Aah bharti hai rahgujar shayad !

Phool gulshan ke phir bujhe se hain,
Feir lee tumne ab nazar shayad !

Aaina dekhkar meri soorat,
Mujhse maange teri khabar shayad !

Ab na kahna tu bewafa mujhko,
Dil jo bhatkey idhar-udhar shayad !

Ek tere ruthne-manane mein,
Hamne kaati hai bas umar shayad !

Ab to har yaad ho gai rukhsat,
Neend aayegi raat bhar shayad !

Faisla kar liya hai kooch karun,
Tere ghar mein nahin basar shayad !

Kaun jaanega ab 'Adab' tujhko,
Teri soorat gai bikhar shayad !
