shukriya e-hamnashi hamnava mere
shukriya jo tu bewafaa ho gaya

gar tu mujhse karta na jafa
to kaise jaan pati mein kya hai wafaa
shukriya jo tune dil tod diya
            shukriya e-hamnashee............

tu gaya chod kar to samajh mei aaya
koi nahi apna sara jag hai paraya
shukriya jo tu bhi mujhse juda ho gaya
            shukriya e-hamnashee.............

gar ham tujhe paa jaate
to mohobbat kya hai na jaan paate
shukriya jo tu khafa ho gaya
            shukriya e-hamnashee..............

zindgi sukh dukh ki hai kahani
dunia ki rit hi hai ye purani
nahi aata pal laut kar jo gujar gaya
bas yahi baat apne dil ko hai samjhani
            shukriya e-hamnashee...............

saagar mei kyu aate tufaan hai
kyu dilo mei gamo k uth.te ufaan hain
tu gaya to zindgi mei ek maksad paaya
tere jaane k baad mei khud ko pehchaan paayi
shukriya jo mujhko mujhse mila dia
             shukriya e-hamnashee................
