सितम प्यार में यूँ गवारा किया है
नहीं एक अश्क़ आश्कारा किया है

तसव्वुर हमेशा तुम्हारा किया है
खुदा का यहीं से नज़ारा किया है

बहुत मुश्क़िलों से पंहुचे यहाँ तक
कमी में सदा ही गुज़ारा किया है

भरेगा भला पेट उल्फ़त से कैसे
इसी सोच ने तो कंवारा किया है

कहीं ना कहीं आग मुझमें लगी है
बरस के अश्क़ ने इशारा किया है

फ़ज़ाएं  सुनाये  तिरी  दास्तानें
मिरी खाक़ को भी सितारा किया है

निकाला मुझे खार की तरह तूने
बता क्या सभी से किनारा किया है

उठा लीजिये आज तो फोन मेरा
किसी को नहीं यूँ दुबारा किया है

चमन को रखा है बचाकर खिजां से
बने खार खुद को ही खारा किया है

न मौक़ा दिया फिर जबां खोलने का
ज़िक्र जिस किसी ने दोबारा किया है
