Yun to sang sada vo parchhai rehti hai,,
Phir bhi chhupi dil me tanhai rehti hai..

Faisle hote kyu zindagi ke itne mushkil,,
Idhar hai kua.N to udhar khai rehti hai..

Dard kaise dikhta uss kore kapde kaa,,
Ki hui uspe jo, reshmi kadhai rehti hai..

Shaks koi ab pasand aaye bhi to kaise,,
Aaine-e-dil me shakal vo samai rehti hai..

Sipahi desh ke liye tha mar mita aur ab,,
Sooni wo chudiyo se saji kalai rehti hai..

Paigam-e-aman se bhi sulajhte hai mudde,,
Phir kyu chhidi jaanlewa ladai rehti hai..

Naa ab keh paaunga aur chand aashar,,
Waise hi aankh meri bhar aai rehti hai..!!!
