rok lete hum  ager  uski   waffa   main  aser  hota,
usko bhi  kabhi ager meri  zindagi  ka  fikar  hota,

seesak  seesak  ke ye zindagi khatam see ho  gayi,
kuch woqt jee lete ager  mera bhi  kahi jikar  hota,

saari  raahe  aasaan  ho jati  meri bhi  yuh kabhi,
ager koi aakar mere khuwaabo main teeno pehar hota,

humsafar eysa tha jo bich raah  main hi chore gaya,
manjil tak pahuch jate ger sathi ke sath safar hota,

chalte chalte aaraam ki thori see khuwaish thi mujhe,
kuch woqt ke liye ruk jate ager raah main nager hota,

kuch  bitey huye  lamhe  sanjo  kar rakh leta [jeet],
ager kise ke paak dil  main hamara  bhi  basar  hota,
