Udaas hay gulshan, phool seb murjahay teray intezaar main
Gin gin ker lemha her ek jo main guzarta houn
Dewana semjhay zamana mujhay, teray intezaar main

Teree yaad jab aayeh bahut, chupkay chupkay hum rou laetay hain

Suna hay ies baar, dhenek kay rang bhee ejeeb hain
