Tumne samjha ke ye  meri Manmani thi,
par mere dil ne to kuch karne ki thani thi,

Choti thi baat ,par sachi thi aur dil ki thi,
Nasal-e fitrat na koi Tata na koi ambani thi,

Tumne jo kha dil par laga vo teer jaisa,
Vahi Baat tumhare labo se nikali asaani thi,

Tumhe humseha phena hua libaaz dekha,
agar dil me utarte tabhi banti koi khanai thi,

Meri Manzil kahi aur thi aur Nazare kahi,
shyad Sambhalne ke liye  tokar jarur khani thi
