Mehbooba ko jab cycle mein bithaya
Mat puchho yaro anubhav kaisa hua

Cycle ki chal jaise badal si gayee
Seedhe rasto pe hichkole khane lagee

Bahe humari handle ko thame thhi
Mehbooba aage ko hi baithhi thhi

Bahe jab unki bahon se takrati
Ajab gudgudi ka anubhav kara jati

Vo hasti ithhlati muskurati huyee
Tej chalane ko humse kehti huyee

Hava ke jhokon se aanchal lehrata
Humarey hi chehrey se jaa takrata

Hum jab beech mein break lagate
Vo Chehra gumati jab muskura ke

Sameep humare mano aur aa jati
Lavo se mere galo ko chhoo jati

Aaj cycle bhi humari madhosh thhi
Apne naseeb pe mano itrati thhi

Lagta mujhse kuchh kehti thhi
Ehsan apna mano jata jati thhi

Humari chetna jaise khoyee thhi
Mehbooba aagosh mein baithhi thhi

Mausam ka najara bhi badla thha
Gulo ki khushboo bikhrey thha

Chand jaise samney humare thha
Roop ki chandni parosey thha
