WAFAAEIN

Khushee-o-khaamoshee se har uftaad sehnee hai
Kahee hai aajtak munhse naa koi baat kehnee hai
Khuda salaamat rakhhe aashiyan tund jhaukon se
Laraz jaataa hai dil yeh sochh kamzor tehnee hai!

Wafaaon ke badle main jafaa kyun chaahtaa hoon
Mujhe khud taajub hai haaye kyaa chaahtaa hoon
Iraadah baanp kar meraa hans kar taal dete hain
Kisse maaloom nahin tumhein jo baat kehnee hai!

Gar gabraa gaaye MohaN zindagi kaun jeeye gaa
Yeh duniya hai aakhir maseebat to roz rehtee hai
Hum naa rahe to saaqi phir isse kaun pooche gaa
Yeh meh dekhnaa ek din gallion mein behnee hai!!
