ghum ki dhoop me ek baar naha ker dekho
zindaghi kya hai kitaabo ko hata ker dekho

aarzu, tamannaye, hasrate, umeed, khawaab
sab fareb hai mager ek bar kha ker dekho

sav buraiyo per tere parda daalegi kudrat
kisi ka ek aib kabhi chupa ker dekho

phol khil jayenge gher me nach uthegi bahare
mahnat ka paseena kahi tum baha ker dekho

dost to apne hai, dushman bhi chale aayege
muhabbat se kisi ko kabhi bula ker dekho

bahut sukoon milta hai pyaar karne ke baad
yakeen na aaye to dil kahi laga ker dekho

us shokh ki nigaho me do jahaan
yaken na aaye to nazre mila ker dekho
