Zindagi hai jo bas di jaye

Man ke khandhar mein dafan armaan
Koi to ho jo dil ke ghaav si jaye

Jism kuch hai kehta rooh kuch aur
Badi kaifiyat hai kiski suni jaye

Milegi manzil hai har kadam zaruri
Bas ek adad si shuruyaat ki jaye

Hawa ke sath behne waalon ki kami nahi yahan
Murdon ko bhi to zindagi ki nasihat di jaye
