बड़े अरमां लिए दिल में उठे थे घर को जाने को ।
मगर अब हम बहुत बेताब है महफ़िल सजाने को ॥
बुघ्हे चेहरे नज़र मायूश लव खामोश है तो क्या ।
कही से ढूढ़ लायेगे हँसी चेहरा सजाने को ॥
कई नगमे , कई नज्मे , कई कौवालिया होगी ।
मगर अब हाथ उठेगे सिर्फ़ ताली बजाने को ॥
